Environmental Food Assessment
In November 2016, the Council released its 2016 Environmental Scan of the stakeholders, programmes, and services related to food in Halton.

In 2011, the Council released the results of the Halton Community Food Assessment Environmental Scan that explores demographic, economic, health, social and cultural aspects of Halton. A number of key indicators are highlighted in the fact sheet, Halton Community Food Assessment. The scan was designed to provide a baseline assessment of regional and local foods systems, to increase awareness of food system issues and opportunities, and to help prioritize the work of the Council.
In 2011, the Council also published the 2011 Halton Community Food Assessment Community Food Programs, an environmental scan and inventory of community food programs and services in Halton Region and best or better practices in other jurisdictions up to the end of May 2011.
